I installed XMMS downloadable from http://www.xmms.org/.
This program has many features and can display the GUI in double size, so it is easily possible to interact with the softkeys without using the stylus.
After connecting the headset socket to my car radio I had a superb mobile MP3 - Player, capable of hosting a huge amount of music.
